Fireside - Hand-dyed Yarn, Sock Yarn, Wool Yarn - Orange, Yellow, and Black - Fingering Yarn - 100g

from $15.00
Sold Out

Please note, this colorway has been updated from previous batches to include yellow and more shades of orange for a more vibrant color change.

This luxurious mill-spun yarn has been hand dyed with fun color change from black to a reddish orange, with shades of orange, yellow, and gray in between. This colorway was inspired by fire pits / fireplaces, and those warm memories of sitting by the fire with a cup of tea and my knitting. It's perfect for fall projects and for holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving.

Yarn Content:

Classic Sock
75% Superwash Merino / 25% Nylon
460 yards / 100g skein

Classic Sock - 50g skein
75% Superwash Merino / 25% Nylon
231 yards / 50g skein
Please note, if you're intending to make a pair of socks with full length cuffs, one 50g skein will not be enough. From personal experience, a pair of women's size 8 shorty socks will use about 40g of fingering weight yarn.

High Twist BFL
80% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester Wool / 20% Nylon
400 yards / 100g skein

Each skein is hand dyed, and there may be slight differences between skeins and between dye batches. In order to minimize visual differences in your finished product, it is recommended that you order enough yarn for your project at one time. You may also alternate skeins every 2nd or 3rd row, but this is optional.

**I do my best to accurately display the colors used in my yarn. However, the colors may vary slightly from one computer screen to another depending on the settings.**

Care Instructions:
Although all yarns are rinsed after dyeing to remove any excess dyes, I still recommend washing your finished product separately the first time you wash it. Although this is superwash wool, which can be machine washed, it should not be put through the dryer; reshape your garment and lay flat to dry. Although handwashing is not required, doing so can extend the life of your garment.
